Basic Calculator
This calculator has been programmed using java. It is usefull to calculate simple operations such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, and so on. It can also work with trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic operations. The operating mode is algebraic for simple operations and RPN for operations like sin, cos, tan, exp.... The calculator has a correction system in order to prevent the user from generating syntax errors. This way the user can't write wrong syntaxes due to the fact that instead of processing an incorrect operation, a red light will warn the user.

Brownian Motion Program
This program simulates the brownian motion of a group of particles that are suspended in a liquid or gas. This program simulates the phenomenon using the random walk law, that is to say, each particle can move in any direction with the same probability. You can download the jar Here. Or visiting the downloads section.

Fourier approximation:
This program draws four functions and their Fourier approximation: | The program will draw four functions and their approximations using Fourier method. When we launch the program, we can choose which of the four examples we want to see. Then we will see the function (drawn in blue) and its approximation (drawn in red). Moreover, we can set the approximation precision using the JSlider. In the last example, we can also change one of the function's parameter. |

MyChat:
This is a "simple" chat:
| This program is a kind of chat which has some options (font, font color, user name, system announcements...): MyChat is a project which consist on two programs, the first one is MyChatServer, which is the server of the chat. The second one is MyChatClient, which is the client and will connect to the server. Their codes are very similar, although they have some differences. |

Pulleys Program
Tuesday, 26 August 2008 12:02
Oliver Hijano Cubelos
Pulleys Program:
This program simulates the mechanic movement of two pulleys connected with a spring(between them) and with two other springs (to the walls): This program is supposed to simulate the real mechanic movement (not in real time) of two pulleys connected between the with a spring and also connected to the walls with two other springs. The user can set up all the variables which determine the movement. This program also draws the kinetic and potential energies graphics, and you can clearly difference each pulley energy since each graphic is drawn using a specific colour. Moreover, you can set the two normal modes of the system (which are demostrated in the .pdf file), and you can slow down or accelerate the motion speed (or even pause the movemeny), so you can study perfectly the mechanic movement.

Masses and springs

Lagrange Equation Program: Three masses and three springs
| This application simulates a physical system that consists on three masses assembled to three circular wharves. The masses are supposed to not to be affected by the force of gravity and they can only move in one direction (constant radius but changeable angle). The first mass (mA) is assembled to the first spring (kA), and to the second spring (kB). This one is connected to the second mass (mB) which is assemble to the third spring (kC) that connects with the third mass (mC). The application is focused on the action between the springs and the masses so the collisions among the three masses are not considered. |

Pendulums Program
Tuesday, 26 August 2008 12:02
Oliver Hijano Cubelos
Pendulums Program:
This program simulates the mechanic movement of two pendulums connected with a spring: In this program the user can set up all the variables needed to determine the pendulums movement. The program is supposed (not in real time, though) to show the real movements two pendulums should have if we "copy" the initial conditions, and it draws the potential and kinetic energies. Moreover, the user can accelerate and slow down the speed so he/she can see specific interactions between both pendulums, as well as pause them or stablish the two "normal modes" (in which the pendulums have the same movement, or the reverse one).
